“The Castelfidardo Accordion Museum had the good fortune and honor of hosting the prestigious accordion duo: “Mysterium Duo”. Maestro Antonio Peruch and his colleague Penny Sanborn presented their latest album—along with the accompanying published sheet music collection—featuring music by Palestrina transcribed and performed for the very first time on two accordions. Listening to the piece "Sicut Cervus" was a truly moving experience. The absence of the Latin lyrics, usually so vital to this Renaissance vocal repertoire, was not felt; instead, the gap was filled by the duo's refined expressiveness and remarkable musical rapport, ensuring that Palestrina’s spiritual and artistic message came through undiminished. It was a truly successful and noble project; from the very first listen, one got the impression that the piece had been written specifically for two accordions—proof that the research, transcription, and interpretation were all executed to perfection. “Il museo della fisarmonica di Castelfidardo ha avuto la fortuna e l'onore di ospitare il prestigioso duo di fisarmoniche Misteryum. Il Maestro Antonio Peruch e la collega Penny Sanborn hanno infatti presentato il loro ultimo album, con relativa raccolta di partiture pubblicate, sulla musica di Palestrina trascritta ed eseguita per la prima volta con due fisarmoniche! L'ascolto del brano "Sicut Cervus", è stato veramente emozionante. La mancanza del testo (in latino), così importante in questo repertorio vocale rinascimentale, non si è fatta sentire, è stata colmata dalla ricercata espressività e dal notevole affiatamento del duo, così che il messaggio spirituale e artistico di Palestrina è giunto ugualmente intatto. Un nobile progetto veramente riuscito, tanto che fin dal primo ascolto si è avuta l'impressione che il brano fosse stato scritto proprio per due fisarmoniche: questa è la prova che sia il lavoro di ricerca, poi di trascrizione, infine quello di interpretazione, sono riusciti in pieno.
